OUR STORY.
Matt started as a distiller in small distilleries - mashing, fermenting, slinging hoses and gaining valuable experience. He then worked his way up into larger and larger distilleries eventually designing and overseeing distilleries that produce millions of cases every year. Along the way he learned many lessons from both those distilleries and any other industrial business that would open their doors. He combined all of that knowledge and all of those lessons learned to create a new piece of equipment for the emerging craft spirits industry. The Hot Rod was created to give distilleries back their time.
