LAYOUT.

We will help you layout your new plant/distillery or cleanly integrate our machines into your existing facility. Hot Rods operate all over the country inside of distilleries, breweries, and wineries of many different sizes and on various steam supplies, and cooling systems. We’ve done this many times, let us help! We love a good engineering problem and enjoy nothing more than helping you find solutions.

Engineering.

The Hot Rod is the only still that can grow with your distillery. It operates like a super powered pilot system during the recipe development phase and like a state of the art production machine when you put the pedal down. We also designed this machine to be incredibly safe with redundant process monitoring and all controls at operator level. No ladders required! These machines are wildly overbuilt. If one fell off of a truck during delivery, it would still run just as well. If somehow you find a way to break it, we’ll fix it.

Fabrication.

Hand tigged stainless piping, copper heat exchangers, and Allen-Bradley PLC controls all come together with extreme attention to detail on every machine we build. We test everything before shipping so you aren’t dealing with leaks and fitment once you get rolling. We make sure you can focus on production sales.

Transport.

The shipping industry is messy, we know that. Constant delays, damaged goods, lost items, we could go on. That’s why we package and ship each item ourselves. We built a custom cradle to transport the still in one piece and avoid dangerous open trailers. The Hot Rod is our baby and make sure it gets to you safe and sound. We are your haulers, riggers, and logistics team. When you order a Hot Rod it shows up with us there, on time.

Installation.

Remember that custom cradle we talked about earlier? It also drives itself into your facility and tips itself upright. Your equipment goes from strapped down in a trailer to standing up in its final resting place within an hour. The Hot Rod arrives fully assembled and ready to run. All that’s to be done is hook up heating and cooling connections on site and you’re ready for training. We stay as long as it takes to make you comfortable running the still. Once we leave you will be a certified user, ready to make delicious and unique spirits, but support is always just a phone call away.

Service and Maintenance.

These machines are wildly overbuilt. If one fell off of a truck during delivery, it would still run just as well. If somehow you find a way to break it, we’ll fix it. Hot Rods are designed to be run, and run hard. Gaskets, seals, and bearings do wear out but preventative maintenance materials are readily available and inexpensive. A full list and schedule is provided upon delivery.
